Finite orthonormal expansions under a measure
This file gives the raw-integral Pythagorean identity for the projection of a square-integrable real function onto a finite orthonormal family. It avoids requiring callers to package the functions as vectors in an abstract Hilbert space.
For a measure, a common diagonal energy, a finite family of real functions, and real coefficients, if every pairwise product is integrable and the pairwise integrals equal the common energy on the diagonal and vanish off it, then the integral of the square of the finite linear combination is the common energy times the sum of squared coefficients.
Formal statement
Proof (Lean source)
Given an index type, a measurable space, a measure, a finite set of indices, a family of real functions, and their diagonal energies, if every indexed cross-product is integrable and its integral is the prescribed energy on the diagonal and zero off the diagonal, then the squared integral of the finite sum equals the sum of its diagonal energies.
Formal statement
Proof (Lean source)
Given a measurable space, a finite index type, a measure, a finite family of real functions, square integrability of every family member, orthonormality through their raw integrals, a target function, and its square integrability, the integral of the target's square splits into the integral of the square of its finite orthonormal projection plus the integral of the square of the residual.

Orthogonality of subset products under finite product measures
This file evaluates cross-moments of subset products built from centered coordinate functions. The coordinate spaces, laws, functions, and second moments may all vary by coordinate.
Given a finite coordinate type, measurable coordinate spaces, probability measures on those spaces, real coordinate functions, zero first moments, specified coordinate second moments, and the corresponding second-moment identities, for two finite coordinate subsets, the cross-moment of their products vanishes unless the subsets agree, in which case it is the product of their coordinate second moments.

A conditional likelihood-ratio set-integral identity
This file proves a conditional change-of-measure identity that replaces an integral over one measurable set by a likelihood-ratio-weighted integral over another.
The declaration is setIntegral_eq_setIntegral_mul_of_likelihoodRatio_swap; its hypotheses state
the likelihood-ratio relation through conditional expectations of the two set indicators.
A set integral can be transported from one measurable set to another by a conditional likelihood ratio. The identity assumes a nested conditioning σ-algebra, measurable source and target sets, conditional measurability of the integrand and its weighted form, integrability on the respective sets, and the conditional likelihood-ratio relation.

UniformConvergence 1 core · 0 supporting This file packages continuity of set integration directly from the topology of uniform convergence on the integration set. ★ continuous_setIntegral_of_continuous_uniformOn
Finite-measure integration under uniform convergence
This file packages continuity of set integration directly from the topology of uniform convergence on the integration set. The parameter space need not be locally compact.
For a measure, a finite-measure integration set, and an family of functions, each integrable on that set that varies continuously in the topology of uniform convergence on that set, the corresponding set integrals vary continuously.
